Alberta Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development meets CCAgr Delegate

2008-10-21, Beijing, China.  CCAgr’s President Youming Zhao P.Ag and Senior Scientific Adviser, Dr. Doug Yungblut attended a reception hosted at the Canadian Embassy in Beijing.  George Groeneveld, Alberta’s Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development invited the company during its mission to promote Canadian agriculture and agri-food trade and cooperation with China.  

CCAgr delegates introduced the organization’s training and business services to the Minister, and also met with Jeff Nankivell , Minster,   Martin Charrton, Senior Trade Commissioner and many other officers at the Canadian Embassy.  Chinese government officers and leaders from major agriculture and agri-food companies also attended this reception.   It was a great experience to meet Canadian government officers and made network with Chinese partners there at the same time.

Youming Zhao stated, “There are so many advances in technology that can benefit both Canada and China. The time is ripe to expand Canadian technology and farming practices.”
