CCAgr Successful in Business Mission to China

2008-10-28, Hamilton, Ontario. The CCAgr has successfully completed its first business mission to China on October 11- 26, 2008. The CCAgr was invited by the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture to attend the sixth China AG Trade Fair.  

Dr. Doug Yungblut , the CCAgr’s Senior Scientific Advisor and past-president of the Ontario Institute of Agrologists  and Youming Zhao,  P.Ag. M.Sc. and CCAgr President attended the trip.   

Youming Zhao stated, “It was beneficial to meet with officers from the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture, provincial government agricultural officers, professionals and CEOs from major agricultural companies in China to gain an understanding of the opportunities for Canadian companies.”  

Besides attending the China AG trade Fair, the delegates also attended an animal agricultural exhibition, VIV China 2008. A similar mission to China is planned for next year.
