Chinese investors show strong interests in Canadian Agriculture and the Canadian Agri-food Industry ( Please read report ). In order to help Chinese-Canadian communities develop farming businesses and attract investment to Ontario, Canada-China Agriculture and Food Development Exchange Center is organizing a seminar.  This seminar will present opportunities for investment and networking with Chinese investors.  This is the second annual seminar, based on the successful event held last year.
Changes to the seminar from last year:

  • Partners and Sponsors:In addition to Coldwell Banker, K. Miller Realty, we are proud to obtain invaluable support from the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, Ontario Institute of Agrologists (OIA) and BMO Financial Group.
  • Audience:  Besides drawing an audience from the Greater Toronto Area, we will also attract participants from multiple Canadian Provinces and China.
  • Meeting Place:  This year the event will be held in the prestigious, Ontario Investment & Trade Centre, located right next to the Eaton Centre downtown Toronto.  From the 35th Floor you will have a spectacular view of Toronto’s many attractions and the shoreline of Lake Ontario.

To keep effective networking and communication, we will need to limit the size of the seminar to 60 people.

Due to the need to limit the size of the seminar we encourage early registration in order to ensure your place.

Who Should Attend:

  • Farmers, Agri-food business owners and any others who want to attract investments, export products to China or those who are interested in selling farm land or businesses to Chinese-Canadians.
