Canadian Agriculture and Agri-food Mission to China 2011

The Canada-China Agriculture and Food Development Exchange Centre (CCAGR) is proud to announce that the 2011 Canadian Agriculture and Agri-food Mission to China will be held this October, 2011.

CCAGR is a leading organization in promoting Canada-China relations in the agriculture and the agri-food industry. In the past several years, CCAGR has organized many tours and missions to China, including the successful Canadian Agribusiness Mission to China 2010 fall, 2010 Canadian Beef Industry Tour, as well as other agri-tours and missions to China. Due to the great success of these tours, CCAGR feels confident repeating these missions and pleased to offer their professional expertise to the “Canadian Agriculture and Agri-food Mission to China”.

The tentative travel date will be from October 14 to 29, 2011. Areas visited will include Hainan, Guangdong, Jiangsu, and Shanxi province, as well as Shanghai, and Beijing metropolitan areas. The climate and weather in China at that time of year will vary depending on the location. In the south, it is a tropical climate year-round, while in the north, temperatures will be milder during autumn.

This upcoming “Canadian Agriculture and Agri-food Mission to China” will be supported by the Chinese Government Agency, Chinese Government officials, leading Chinese agriculture enterprises, in addition to Canadian business representatives in China, will be invited to a welcoming dinner in Beijing.   

This particular mission to China will include a smaller group than previous years.
